We are sending you an issue of LITUANUS — a quarterly published by the Lithuanian Student Association in the United States. 

The periodical aims at bringing out various problems and achievements of Lithuania, past and present. As, however, Soviet expansion was of fateful consequences to the very existence of the Lithuanian State and as, generally, the problem of Soviet Communism is directly related to the affairs of Lithuania today, LITUANUS will also present information on Soviet Union as on matters purely Lithuanian. It will bring out the strong as well as the weak points in the Soviet order — all in the hope that understanding of a question will precede the answer applied to it.
